Lab coats, libidos, and piles of cocaine! Not one, but two hospital comedies from 1982, chopped up in the finest line of anti-comedy crank for you to snort and then feel weird about the drip afterwards. First is Garry Marshall’s yuk-laden YOUNG DOCTORS IN LOVE, giving the AIRPLANE!-stye treatment to the operating room with Michael McKean and Sean Young in tow. Then it’s the zoinked JEYKLL & HYDE: TOGETHER AGAIN, an early HBO staple and one very uncool movie starring Mark Blankfield (from the era-defining unfunny sketch show “Fridays”.)
