What a discovery! Before the iconic ‘90s indie that showcased the skill and style of Kid ’N Play, young filmmaker Reginald Hudlin shot an early version of HOUSE PARTY in ’83 for his undergrad degree at Harvard! Many of the scenes would later end up in the feature film verbatim, and this charming short did end up on PBS’s “Image Union” back in the ‘80s.
