The great Shirley Hemphill’s TV sitcom legacy didn’t end with the cancellation of “What’s Happening!!” in ‘79.  The very-short-lived “One In A Million” from 1980 gave Shirley another opportunity to shine on the airwaves. Tonight we show the whole pilot! The rags-to-riches premise is she’s an L.A. cabbie who inherits a bazillion-dollar fortune from one of her regular fares: the newly deceased CEO of a multinational corporation.
