One of the most fascinating chapters of the OG L.A. punk era, captured in a superlative recent PBS documentary crammed with tasty footage and photos. A stone’s throw from each other in the same Chinatown plaza, Madame Wong’s and the Hong Kong Cafe were the joint epicenter of total awesomeness.
